Privacy Policy
Effective: August 14, 2026
1. What this policy covers
This policy explains how LarpedAI Account Desk handles information when a user connects a TikTok account or uses Account Desk's content-testing and account-management features.
2. TikTok data we may receive
When you authorize TikTok access, the app may receive only data associated with the permissions you approve and the permissions TikTok has approved for the app. Depending on those permissions, this may include basic profile information, profile statistics, public video information, and available public video performance metrics.
3. Information you add yourself
Account Desk may also store information you enter, such as account labels, notes, experiment names, creative variants, clip order, opening style, vibe, posting checkpoints, and result notes.
4. How information is used
Information is used to display connected account information, organize public videos, refresh available metrics, compare content tests, keep account records associated with the correct authorized account, and support features you choose to use.
5. TikTok credentials
TikTok OAuth authorization is used for API access. TikTok passwords are not used as API credentials. Sensitive authorization material must not be exposed in public browser code.
6. Sharing and sale of data
LarpedAI Account Desk does not sell TikTok user data. Data is not used to create fake engagement or to automate likes and comments.
7. Revoking TikTok access
You can revoke an app's TikTok authorization through TikTok's app-permission controls. After authorization is revoked, the app can no longer use the revoked TikTok access token to request new TikTok data.
8. Retention and local records
Account Desk may retain locally stored account organization, experiment history, and previously synced records until the user removes them or removes the local application data. TikTok access remains subject to TikTok's authorization and token rules.
9. Security
The service is designed so secret application credentials and sensitive token operations are handled outside public frontend code. Reasonable safeguards are used to protect locally stored sensitive information.
10. Changes
This policy may be updated as the service, TikTok permissions, or data practices change. The effective date above will be updated when material changes are published.
11. Contact
Privacy questions can be directed to the operator through the contact information published on the official Donnie Clams website.
